A major holding pool, Home Pool has produced many salmon over the years and is considered to be one of the best on the entire river. The old fellas didn't build camps where there weren't any fish.


A deep pool at the head forces the water up over the ledging down through the pool. Home Pool has been the sight of many smiles and tears as well as paintings and picture takings. Since the split of the river, Home Pool has suffered somewhat from a change in currents and over the last few years has not held fish for any length of time during low water. Home Pool still remains one of our big three.
