Named for the large jam of wood that used to pile across the river, Burnt Jam is a better high water pool than low. Although the top of Burn't Jam provides choppy rapids that help oxygenate the river when the water is low. This makes the upper part of the pool attractive during the hot, dog days of summer. | ||||||||
